Tomato To-mah-to


Made my first tomato basil soup today. Yes I realize it's 100 degrees outside, but I felt like it ok?
It had fresh coarsely chopped basil, carrots, celery, onion, salt, and pepper. I cooked for about 20 minutes then put in the food processor long enough to keep it chunky, then slow cooked it for another 45 minutes. Delish.
