Chowder? I barely know her!

Calling ahead to my grandparents before a visit guarantees a hot meal upon arrival. My grandmother made clam chowder, using vegetables from her garden. She usually adds bacon, sausage and onion, but a couple of my family members (which I will not out!) don't like it so she added some lovely dill and celery. I think this worked well considered we’re having such a hot, sticky summer. And although she’ll deny it, much butter was added to the soup, making it oh so good…
